Job description

Job Description
Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for driving execution across all clinical and operational functions at Pinnacle Wound Management. This role is heavily focused on provider productivity, facility coverage, revenue optimization, and scalable growth. You will act as the central operator ensuring providers are fully utilized, facilities are serviced consistently, and the business runs efficiently and profitably.
This is a hands-on, accountability-driven role where success is measured by visits, revenue, provider output, and expansion velocity-not just process management.
Core Responsibilities
1. Provider Productivity & Scheduling (Top Priority)
  • Own provider schedules across all facilities to ensure maximum daily visit volume
  • Eliminate downtime, gaps, and underutilized provider capacity
  • Continuously optimize routes, facility grouping, and coverage models
  • Track and enforce productivity benchmarks (visits/day, revenue/provider)

Key Metric Ownership:
  • Visits per provider per day
  • Revenue per provider
  • % schedule utilization
2. Facility Operations & Coverage
  • Ensure every contracted facility is consistently covered with zero service gaps
  • Act as the primary operational contact for administrators and DONs
  • Resolve issues quickly to maintain strong facility relationships
  • Support onboarding of new facilities with immediate operational execution
3. Revenue Cycle Alignment
  • Work directly with billing to ensure:
    • Accurate documentation from providers
    • Timely charge capture and submission
    • Minimal denials and revenue leakage
  • Identify operational breakdowns affecting collections and fix them fast

Key Metric Ownership:
  • Revenue per visit
  • Claim turnaround time
  • Denial rate tied to operational issues
4. Growth & Expansion Execution
  • Operationalize new facility contracts quickly (staffing, scheduling, workflows)
  • Support leadership in scaling into new markets and buildings
  • Build systems that allow Pinnacle to grow without operational breakdown
5. Process Control & Accountability
  • Build and enforce simple, repeatable systems (not overcomplicated processes)
  • Hold providers and staff accountable to performance standards
  • Identify inefficiencies and fix them in real time
  • Create a culture of urgency, responsiveness, and ownership
6. Team Leadership (Lean Team Model)
  • Oversee schedulers, coordinators, and administrative staff
  • Ensure the team operates with speed, accuracy, and accountability
  • Remove bottlenecks that slow down providers or revenue
What Success Looks Like in This Role
  • Providers are fully booked and consistently hitting productivity targets
  • Facilities are covered without complaints or gaps
  • Revenue is maximized with minimal operational leakage
  • New facilities are launched quickly and smoothly
  • Operations run lean, fast, and controlled
Qualifications
  • 3-7+ years of operations experience (healthcare strongly preferred)
  • Experience in mobile healthcare, wound care, or SNF/ALF environments
  • Strong understanding of provider scheduling + revenue cycle impact
  • Proven ability to manage multi-site operations with moving pieces
  • Highly organized, decisive, and execution-focused
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Thinks in numbers, output, and efficiency (not just tasks)
  • Comfortable managing providers and holding them accountable
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Naturally identifies problems and solves them without being told
  • Operates with urgency and ownership
