Job description

Job Summary:
American Sound is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join their Indianapolis office to support client integration and internal platform enhancements. The role involves building and supporting ServiceNow solutions, ensuring platform performance, and collaborating with various teams to deliver scalable solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements and improve overall platform functionality
• Design, implement, and support e-bonding integrations with client ServiceNow instances and other external client systems
• Serve as a technical point of contact for client-facing opportunities, helping translate business needs into effective ServiceNow solutions
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define integration use cases, and align technical solutions with service expectations
• Troubleshoot and resolve client-facing integration issues, ensuring timely communication and high-quality service delivery
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate implementation timelines, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
• Configure out-of-the-box workflows and develop custom workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts
• Integrate ServiceNow applications with third-party systems and external platforms using APIs, web services, and other integration methods
• Support internal platform development, enhancements, and optimization efforts to improve performance and usability
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for configurations, integrations, customizations, and development processes
• Analyze existing programs and design, code, test, and debug new or enhanced solutions
• Recommend and implement improvements to development practices, maintenance processes, and system standards
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and pursue technical certifications as appropriate
• Assist with platform administration, troubleshooting, and support as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems related disciplines; eight years of experience as a developer; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field
• 4+ years’ experience as a ServiceNow developer or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, or AngularJS
• Experience integrating cloud solutions with on-premises solutions and with other cloud solutions
• Familiarity with ITIL and IT Service Management
• Experience with AJAX, JSON, and integration techniques
• Self-starter with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience administering or developing ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, and/or SAM Pro
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of multi-department teams on large enterprise projects
• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Systems Administrator or Certified Application Developer
