We are YODA and the pet owner is LUKE SKYWALKER. We exist for the pets & the owners who are not only visit the farm but in the community. We're doing work that matters.
Meyer's is 3rd generation dog professionals. Kent & Gwen Meyer have led Meyer's since their mid-twenties when they weren't believable. They now have been teaching "dog speak" for over 25 years and have woven dog behavior into every aspect of services at Meyer's. That will never change. What WILL change-and HAS to change-is HOW we do things. We're changing every day so we can INSPIRE more & more people with their dogs . . . and our Team of 45+ is changing and growing fast. WHO GREETS GUESTS AT ANIMAL HOUSE
The hospitality team is often the first point of contact for new & existing guests for tours, reservations, information about our many services, and as such, this is one of the most important roles at Meyer's. The team has both 1st Impression and Guest Relations staff who strive to take customers all the way to "Wow!", doing work that matters. Meyer's has a strong sense of community with many staff being part of the team for over 10 years building, innovating, and being part of something bigger than themselves.
The Hospitality team is looking for a 1st Impressions Team Member who will be responsible for communicating with our customers, being empathetic to the issues they are facing, and guiding them to a plan which best fits their pets' needs.

WHAT YOU BRING
Related Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service
  • 3+ years of experience in retail sales
  • Experience working with sensitive situations, helping to develop WOW experiences (Both feminine and masculine customers)
  • MS Office Skills
  • Speed to multi-task in high energy environment

Basic Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree or higher preferred

Key Result Areas:
You must be comfortable making outgoing calls and emails throughout the day, meeting and greeting customers consistently
For new clients, being a guide while soft-selling and being a champion for our house.
For clients who have used Animal House, discuss and document their experiences (i.e. what was done well and what needs improvement).
For clients who did not use Animal House, discuss and document why and what we can do to improve the process.
WHERE YOU WILL BE LOCATED:
  • At Meyer's Animal House on 11 beautiful acres in Deforest, Wisconsin. It's roughly 2 miles west of Sun Prairie right on Highway 19!
  • You'll report to our Office Leader
