Job Summary:
We are seeking an onsite dispatcher to work in our Ogden office.
The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and dispatching Service Technicians to customer locations, managing service calls, and ensuring efficient and effective delivery of automation services. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a customer-oriented approach.
Compensation is $18-20 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and Dispatch Technicians: Schedule and dispatch Service Technicians to customer locations based on service requests and urgency.
  • Customer Interaction: Take customer calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about services, pricing, and scheduling.
  • Communication: Ensure technicians have the necessary information and resources to complete their tasks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of service calls, appointments, and customer information.
  • Routing: Optimize routes for technicians to maximize productivity and minimize travel time.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing reports related to job status, daily activities, and dispatched calls.
  • Collaboration: Work with the management team to forecast scheduling needs based on seasonal changes or customer demands.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 1-2 years of prior experience in dispatching or customer service roles, preferably in the HVAC/building automation or construction industries.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with building automation controls systems and terminology is a plus.
