Position: Service Lot Porter

Position is full-time.

Position Overview: As a Lot Porter at Werner Kia, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our dealership lot. You will ensure that vehicles are properly prepared for display, assist in lot management, and contribute to creating a positive first impression for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Move vehicles to designated display areas on the lot, ensuring an attractive and organized presentation.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles for cleanliness and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain and organize vehicle keys, ensuring accurate tracking and timely retrieval.
  • Assist in managing the flow of vehicles in and out of the dealership lot.
  • Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure timely delivery and pickup of vehicles for customers.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on the lot.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Prior experience in automotive detailing or lot management is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and precipitation.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds.
