Job description

As a family-owned award-winning construction and roofing business, we understand the value of maintaining strong relationships. We are looking for the right person to be a part of a great team. We provide an unwavering commitment to company culture and amazing service to clients.

THIS IS THE POSITION FOR YOU IF:

  • You have at least 2 years of commercial roofing service or commercial roofing sales experience
  • You can independently diagnose roof issues — leaks, flashing failures, ponding water, coping caps, drains and scuppers, parapets, sealants — and write a defensible scope
  • You are comfortable owning recurring client relationships and being the face of R&D for repeat service work
  • Trustworthy, honest, respectful, accountable, and reliable
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented — you do not need someone to tell you to make the next call
  • You thrive in the field, not behind a desk
  • Calm, positive, and solution-oriented in all situations
  • You want real autonomy and the chance to grow a service book over time

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Owning and growing an established book of recurring commercial service clients across Miami-Dade and Broward
  • Responding to client service calls — diagnosing issues on-site, scoping repairs, and providing same-day or next-day quotes wherever possible
  • Hunting for new service accounts through cold calls, canvassing commercial buildings, and referral outreach
  • Walking roofs, taking measurements, photographing conditions, and writing accurate scopes for the estimating team
  • Working with the estimating team to turn scopes into proposals quickly and accurately
  • Touching base with existing service clients on a recurring basis to maintain the relationship and surface new work
  • Traveling within Florida as the role requires (primary territory is Miami-Dade)

ABILITIES YOU MUST BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial roofing service or commercial roofing sales experience (residential-only experience is not a fit for this role)
  • Reliable transportation and a valid Florida driver's license — this is a field role and you will be driving to buildings every day
  • You must be able to safely climb ladders, walk roofs of all types (single-ply, modified bitumen, BUR, metal, tile), and perform inspections in Florida weather
  • Strong working knowledge of low-slope and steep-slope commercial roofing systems and HVHZ compliance requirements
  • Strong communication skills and a professional presence — our clients are commercial property managers, developers, facility managers, and building owners
  • Technologically proficient — comfortable with a CRM (Pipedrive), smartphone documentation, photo-based reporting, and standard office software
  • Willingness to travel within Florida as the role requires
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus in our markets

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT:

  • You inherit an established book of recurring service clients on day one — no starting from zero
  • Real autonomy — you own the relationships, you set the cadence, you scope the work
  • Direct support from estimating, project coordination, and field operations — your job is selling and diagnosing, not chasing internal paperwork
  • Family-owned company that treats its people right and rewards performance

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Guaranteed weekly pay during an 8-week training and onboarding ramp-up period — we invest in you while you learn our book and our process
  • Competitive weekly draw against earned commissions thereafter
  • Commission on new sales and service work
  • Performance-based bonus eligibility tied to activity and revenue
  • 401(k) match
  • Health benefits
  • Paid time off
  • Quarterly profit share
