One of the most popular restaurants in the Lake Nona community, Canvas Restaurant and Market menu features New American cuisine influenced by Florida's Southern and Latin American roots and seasonally sourced local produce and Atlantic seafood. Serving lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch with breakfast available in the market.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Host/Hostess is responsible for delivering hospitality to our guests with genuine and personable conversation. This position is critical to our guests' overall experience as the Host/Hostess is the first and last impression. He/she must exceed the guest experience by aspiring to go above and beyond in providing exceptional service that will compel our guests to continue to come back.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Deliver genuine hospitality to and establish emotional connections with our guests

  • Answer the telephones and take requests for reservations accurately
  • Take orders, in person or over the telephone, for takeout orders and packages to go food accurately
  • Update table availability and manage dining room effectively using the table management system
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and alert a manager immediately
  • Communicate with managers and servers regarding table availability, key table updates, or special requests made by guests
  • Follow up with guests about their meal and dining experience to ensure great guest satisfaction
  • Maintain high level of cleanliness and sanitation
