Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Checks the daily schedule to see in what section you are
  • Sets up/does server side work and stocks
  • Introduces yourself and provide water to all guests upon arrival. Explains how the service screen works (turns red)
  • Takes beverage orders and introduces Offers favorites to whet guest's appetites.
  • Rings orders in for bartender in required order (liquor/smoothie, wine, bottled beer, draft, soda)
  • Adds straws and picked garnishes after bartender pours
  • Places beverages on tray; delivers to guests
  • Attempts to get guests to order food when dropping off first
  • Checks back to ensure guests' satisfaction of drinks and for follow up orders
  • Drops off silverware sets and any condiments necessary, including salt & pepper after order is received
  • Communicates with your runner/bus person and let them know that you have a food order and which lane/area is involved
  • Once food is delivered, immediately confirms the order is correct and offers condiments
  • Removes empty glasses; cleans tables as possible
  • Consistently follows sales control procedures; (does not give out free product/ not ringing product)
  • Verifies accuracy of prices on guests' Presents bill, comment card and mints to guests.
  • Is aware of and enforces these policies: Pinz accepts cash and credit card payments as prescribed by standard operating procedures. No personal checks
  • Keeps assigned tables, lounge and service station, as well as other areas clean and tidy
  • Advises bartender or supervisor of complaints as they occur
  • Consistently complies with all state, local and city laws/ policies relating to the service of alcohol
  • Does side work and restocks your areas of concern
  • Checks out with bartender prior to doing your books
