Experience Required:

  • Must have experience in Installing, Configuring, Updating and Administering Datastage repository, Designer and Director
  • Must have excellent Oral and Written communication skills with good customer facing experiences.
  • Installation and configuration of IBM Infosphere Information Server Datastage/Quality stage on UNIX platform or Windows platform.
  • Experience in Quality stage AVI file installation.
  • Experience in upgrading Datastage/Quality stage and AVI
  • Configuring OS Profiles and LDAP Authentication.
  • Creation and maintenance of Datastage users and privileges.
  • Migration of Datastage jobs/sequences/parameters from Dev, UAT to Prod environments
  • Experience on IBM Infosphere Information Server Manager.
  • Must have experience in kill jobs; clear the locks in UNIX serverside as well in Datastage client side.
  • Installing and configuring IBM Infosphere Information Admin Console to proactively monitor the environment.
  • Extensively experience on UNIX shell scripts on automation (Auto restart of servers, Disk space utilization, IBM Information Server monitoring and UNIX file system maintenance and cleanup, and scripts using IBM Information server Command line utilities.
  • Project creation and roles define in each environment
  • Experience in CDC installation and stop/start process
  • Must have experience in stop/start DS Engine and Agents in Datastage
  • Creating Groups, roles, privileges and assigned them to each user group.
  • Working on SQL queries to query the Repository DB to find the deviations from Company's ETL Standards for the jobs created by users such as Sources, Targets, Transformations,Aggregators,remove duplicate stages, Log Files, jobs, sequences.
