A Senior Test Manager oversees the testing activities within a software development or IT project to ensure that products meet quality standards before release. They are responsible for defining test strategies, managing test teams, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring all testing is completed on schedule. Senior Test Managers also analyze testing metrics, report on defects, and implement best practices to improve overall software quality. Their leadership is crucial for mitigating risks and ensuring successful project delivery.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a senior test manager?

To thrive as a Senior Test Manager, you need expertise in software testing methodologies, test planning, and quality assurance, typically backed by a degree in computer science or related field and several years of testing experience.
