Job Description:

Broadcom's ASIC Products Division is seeking a candidate for an ATE Test Development Engineer. This position is at our Allentown, Pennsylvania, or Fort Collins Development Center in Colorado. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience of developing test programs using Advantest 93K and ExaScale testers. The candidate will have demonstrated capabilities to develop test programs using SmarTest7 & SmarTest8 operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Test Development: Develop test flows, test methods and validate test programs at ATE

  • RMA Diagnosis: Use existing test flows, test programs to create characterization test programs to help identify the failing circuit at ATE. Assist with developing screens to plug the hole at ATE by developing test programs

  • R&D activities: Drive and assist with development and deployment of innovative test methodologies to meet specific objectives. These would span structural tests and functional tests domains.

  • Qualification Support: Assist with chip testing to support qualification related testing. Examples include failure verification support & spec search to assess qualification process

  • Analyze root-causes of various challenges at ATE by doing electrical, thermal analysis

  • Test parts, analyze results and present reports to drive discussions with various teams

Skills/Experiences

  • Hands-on experience with Advantest and/or Teradyne tester platforms, SmarTest8 experience is a plus

  • Must be able to independently develop test programs, including complex test flows to support chip specifications around performance and power consumption

  • Must be able to support debugging/troubleshooting of various failure mechanisms with the part by working with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to perform volume data analysis, Correlate failures with system failures, Proficiency with Data analysis softwares/languages

  • Programming experience required for test method development

  • Ability to work with test hardware development teams, able to understand chip performance at ATE and contributions from the test hardware on chip behavior

  • Experienced with extreme temperature testing of ASICs at ATE

Education:

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience


Compensation and Benefits


The annual base salary range for this position is USD 109,700.00 To USD 175,500.00
