Job Summary:
Viant Technology is an AI-powered advertising platform focused on CTV, seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technical Account Manager to serve as a strategic post-sales thought leader for key clients. The role involves partnering with various teams to enhance client relationships, drive adoption of Viant's solutions, and translate technical capabilities into business value.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Serve as a strategic technical thought leader in the post-sale lifecycle, partnering with Account Management to grow adoption, expand use cases, and retain and upsell key accounts.
โ€ข Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders by aligning Viantโ€™s measurement and data solutions to broader business objectives.
โ€ข Partner closely with Sales Engineering to ensure continuity of solution strategy from pre-sale handoff through execution and optimization.
โ€ข Collaborate with Sales, Business Intelligence, and Operations teams to unblock complex challenges and deliver high-impact solutions for strategic accounts.
โ€ข Lead client measurement strategy across Viant Advanced Reporting and third-party measurement solutions to improve insight quality, performance understanding, and ROI.
โ€ข Scope and deliver custom reporting solutions that enable advanced analysis, executive-level storytelling, and long-term measurement evolution.
โ€ข Develop training materials and documentation to level up internal Sales and Account teams and strengthen post-sale execution.
โ€ข Use Google BigQuery SQL to investigate data discrepancies, validate data integrity, and surface actionable insights that inform optimization and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 6+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Account Management, Project Management, Ad Operations, or related roles
โ€ข 4+ years experience with Ad Tech platforms such as demand-side platforms (DSPs), data management platforms (DMPs), Customer Data Platform (CDP), and/or clean rooms technology
โ€ข Strong understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, including DSPs, ad serving, programmatic buying, onboarding, and measurement
โ€ข Ability to clearly articulate complex technical and measurement concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
โ€ข Proficiency in SQL (Google BigQuery preferred) and cloud-based analytics tools
โ€ข Strategic mindset with a bias toward action; comfortable operating in ambiguity and influencing without authority
