Strategic driver who specializes in enhancing the overall effectiveness and performance of the organization through comprehensive planning and implementation of culture, change, and leadership initiatives. This multidisciplinary role combines human resources, business strategy and organizational behavior to drive sustainable growth and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role will be responsible for designing and executing organizational development initiatives, managing culture action plans, navigating internal partnerships and deploying a measurement strategy in partnership with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and business leaders.

The Senior Organizational Development Advisor is a senior individual contributor who leads and advances Organizational Development (OD) and Organizational Effectiveness (OE) strategies to improve organizational performance and enable business outcomes. This roleoperatesat the intersection of culture, change, team effectiveness, and business performance, translating strategy into measurable workforce impact.

The SeniorODAdvisoroperatesas a trusted thought partner,bringing deep OD/OEexpertise, strong executive presence, and using data and organizational insights to shape and guide culture, change, and effectiveness priorities.

The Senior Advisor leads the design and advancement of organizational interventions while partnering closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and business leaders.

The role combines organizational behavior, human resources, and business strategy to solve complex organizational challenges, enable sustained performance, and strengthen a culture of continuous improvement. Key accountabilities include leading OD/OE initiatives, shaping culture and change strategies and action plans, diagnosing organizational needs through qualitative and quantitative insights, and delivering integrated solutions that align people, strategy, and performance.

  • Leverage deep OD/OE and HRexpertiseand best practices to influence and evolve culture, organizational change, leadership development, performance enablement, and team and organizational effectiveness initiatives

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic counsel and expert consultation to leaders, including senior leadership, on complex organizational challenges

  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and business leaders to shape, design, and implement OD strategies, programs, and solutions aligned to enterprise priorities

  • Lead the development and advancement of organizational change strategies that align talent, behaviors, and actions to the desired cultural outcomes.

  • Conduct and interpret qualitative and quantitative analysis to diagnose organizational gaps and assess the effectiveness of interventions

  • Synthesize data and insights todevelop and guideenterprise-wide and division-specific culture action plans that enablea thrivingorganizationandaccelerate business results

  • Strengthen a high-trust, high-performance culture by aligning employee experience, leadership behaviors, and organizational practices.

  • Drive execution ofOD and OEinitiatives, partnering with Principal Organizational Development Advisors to ensure alignment to Talent and Organizational Effectiveness and Workforce Optimization priorities.

  • Facilitate alignment and drive effective communication across teams and divisions, enabling collaboration, decision-making, and conflict resolution.

  • Partner with HR COEs to design and deploy leading-edge culture, change, leadership,performanceand team effectiveness resources to meet a variety of learning needsacross multiple delivery modalities

  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging methodologies, and leading practices, and apply insights to continuously evolve OD/OE strategies and solutions

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in organizational development, human resources or businessmanagementOR Master's degree and 3+ years of experience asstatedabove.

  • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in the following areas.

  • Significant experienceconsulting with all levels of management, including senior leaders, to mature and improve organizational culture, change capabilities and team effectiveness while driving desired business outcomes

  • Significant experiencein creating and delivering effective presentations and report outs to leadership teams (including senior leaders)

  • Significant experiencein implementing positive organizational change strategies, plans and resources that deliver on business results and cultivate a thriving culture

  • Experience leading and managing projects,programsor initiatives

Salary Range

At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.

Based on annual corporate goal achievement and individual performance.
