Summary:

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for leading strategic supply chain analysis, business intelligence, and continuous improvement initiatives that optimize inventory performance, operational efficiency, customer delivery, and financial performance. This role serves as the subject matter expert for supply chain analytics by developing enterprise reporting, evaluating business trends, supporting strategic planning, and providing data-driven recommendations that influence executive decision-making.

Working closely with the Director of Supply Chain and cross-functional leadership, the Senior Supply Chain Analyst leads initiatives focused on inventory optimization, excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory reduction, working capital improvement, forecasting performance, supply chain risk assessment, and operational excellence while driving continuous improvement across procurement, planning, logistics, and manufacturing operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the development and execution of supply chain analytics strategies by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), business intelligence reporting, and performance dashboards that support executive decision-making.
  • Analyze enterprise supply chain performance, including procurement, inventory, production planning, logistics, customer delivery, and supplier performance, to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and lead strategies that reduce excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory, improve inventory turns, optimize working capital, and strengthen overall inventory performance.
  • Evaluate demand planning, forecast accuracy, inventory consumption, and material planning performance to improve operational planning and inventory optimization.
  • Perform advanced financial and operational analyses that quantify business impacts, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional root cause analysis for inventory challenges, supply chain disruptions, supplier performance issues, and operational inefficiencies while developing sustainable corrective actions.
  • Partner with Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Program Management to lead strategic improvement initiatives and optimize end-to-end supply chain performance.
  • Develop executive presentations, business cases, and operational reviews that communicate supply chain performance, emerging risks, financial impacts, and strategic recommendations.
  • Evaluate ERP data, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms to improve data integrity, reporting automation, and organizational visibility.
  • Mentor Supply Chain Analysts by providing technical guidance, analytical support, and knowledge sharing while promoting best practices in data analysis and business reporting.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean principles, data analytics, and process optimization methodologies to improve operational performance and organizational effectiveness.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain analytics to support organizational growth and competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field, preferred.
  • Certifications: Preferred:
    • ASCM Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
    • ASCM Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
    • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or equivalent business intelligence certification)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of five (7) years of experience in supply chain analytics, inventory management, procurement, production planning, logistics, manufacturing operations, or a related analytical role.
    • Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) experience strongly preferred.
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and data analysis functions.
    • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other business intelligence and reporting tools preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods during the work shift.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-based work.
  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication methods.
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift office materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to visually review documents, reports, spreadsheets, and computer displays with or without corrective lenses.

Work Environment:
