Job Summary

We are looking for a Sr. Structural Engineer to work FT in our Structural Department. This position is competitively paid, offers full benefits and OT pay. The position will require engagement with the client, working in teams on occasion and working independently on various jobs concurrently. We are looking for someone who is a consistent performer, wants to learn and who is dependable.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Masters Degree preferred but not required

Knowledge

  • Building Codes: IBC, ASCE 7, AISC & ACI Design Requirements
  • STAAD Pro & RAM Structural Analysis Software

Experience

  • 10 + years in Structural Project Design duties including code interpretation, analysis, specifications writing/editing, coordination with other disciplines and corroboration with a team of drafters/designers and engineers to produce project design/construction documents. At least 5 years of the total experience should be as a Design Lead overseeing overall project design effort.

  • Industrial-Design oriented person preferred with some knowledge of construction techniques
  • Project Management experience is helpful
