Structural Engineer
AMG Incorporated is looking for a Structural Engineer who enjoys turning real-world constraints into smart, buildable solutions and seeing their work come to life in the field. This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer to take ownership of real projects and build hands-on experience in structural design for industrial applications.
Daily Functions:
  • Design and evaluate structural members using load calculations
  • Determine feasibility and optimize solutions for industrial applications
  • Work with Unistrut systems, including member and fitting selection
  • Apply sound engineering judgment to develop safe, efficient designs
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver practical, efficient designs and support occasional visits to client site (local).

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering (may consider Civil or Mechanical with applicable experience)
  • 2-5 years of structural design experience
  • Strong understanding of structural fundamentals and member sizing
  • Detail-oriented with a practical, problem-solving mindset
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Dayton, Ohio area

This position will focus on structural member designs initially with progressive growth into larger more complex projects. Lots of room for growth!
