ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The Senior Wealth Strategy Analyst partners closely with Wealth Strategists to deliver comprehensive, data-driven analysis and client-ready planning deliverables. This role supports high net worth and ultra-high net worth client engagements by organizing complex financial information, developing planning models, and preparing materials for use in client meetings. The Senior Wealth Strategy Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, consistency, quality, and timeliness of wealth strategy client outputs. This position also contributes to process improvement and the development of junior analysts.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.

  • Data Review & Organization: Review and organize client financial information, including personal financial statements, account statements, insurance policies, tax returns, estate planning documents, ownership structures, and related client information to support analysis and planning.
  • Financial Analysis & Modeling: Prepare and maintain detailed analyses such as cash flow models, estate flowcharts, and scenario-based financial and wealth transfer modeling to evaluate planning strategies.
  • Client Deliverables Preparation: Develop high-quality, client-ready materials for use by Wealth Strategists in client meetings.
  • Planning Support & Research: Conduct technical research and assist in evaluating advanced planning strategies across estate, tax, insurance, and cash flow disciplines; summarize findings for strategist review.
  • Process Management & Execution: Track deliverables, identify missing or incomplete information, and coordinate workflow to ensure timely and accurate production of analysis and materials.
  • Ongoing Plan Maintenance: Update client analyses and deliverables as circumstances evolve, ensuring planning information remains current and aligned with client objectives.
  • Collaboration & Team Support: Partner effectively with Wealth Strategists and other team members to support planning efforts and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Coaching & Development: Provide guidance and informal mentoring to junior analysts; support training and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Thought Support & Content Development: Assist in the development of internal materials, presentations, and planning collateral that contribute to team knowledge and client education.
  • Risk & Compliance: Operate within the Bank's risk framework, ensuring all analyses and deliverables adhere to established policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to shifting priorities to support team and organizational objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in wealth planning, financial analysis, or a related field within a professional services or financial services environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Qualified candidates will possess a strong degree of proficiency in (typically from 5+ years of experience):

  • Financial Planning & Analytical Skills: Solid understanding of financial planning concepts including cash flow, estate planning, basic income, gift, and estate tax concepts, and investment structures, with the ability to translate data into actionable analysis.
  • Technical Software Proficiency: Experience with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney or similar), along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to Detail & Accuracy: Strong focus on data integrity, organization, and quality control across complex financial analyses and deliverables.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment and communicate clearly with Wealth Strategists and other team members.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or planning opportunities within client data and proactively elevate insights.

SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:

Qualified candidates will possess an advanced degree of proficiency (typically from 5+ years of experience), across a suite of skills including, but not limited to:

  • Professional Credentials: CFP or equivalent credentials preferred.
  • Process Orientation: Ability to manage multiple deliverables, prioritize effectively, and operate efficiently within established workflows.
