Senior Salesforce Developer

Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer

Location: Reston, VA (Preferred) / Dallas, TX / Maryland

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite per Week

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our client's team on a long-term contract engagement. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud and Sales Cloud, with a strong track record of designing, developing, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments.

This role requires a hands-on developer who can work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to build and enhance Salesforce applications while following best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Salesforce best practices.

• Lead the development and enhancement of Salesforce Experience Cloud and Sales Cloud implementations.

• Build and maintain custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Flows, and integrations.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

• Develop integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.

• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

• Support release management, deployment activities, and CI/CD processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Salesforce development experience.

• Expert-level experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.

• Expert-level experience with Sales Cloud.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

                    o Apex

                    o Lightning Web Components (LWC)

                    o Aura Components

                    o Salesforce Flows

                    o SOQL/SOSL

                    o Salesforce Security & Sharing Model

                    o REST/SOAP APIs

• Experience with Salesforce integrations and enterprise application development.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce development lifecycle and deployment processes.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (SFPS) is a significant plus.

• Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications preferred.

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise Salesforce environments.

• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control tools.
