What is the opportunity?

  • We are seeking a highly motivated risk analyst to support the oversight and governance of technology and operational risk activities at Information & Technology (I&T). This role is responsible for monitoring risk indicators, providing first-line challenges, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, and producing reporting to senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the organization's risk culture and resilience while collaborating across the enterprise to identify, assess, and mitigate technology and operational risks that could impact business objectives.

What will you do?

KRI Compliance Monitoring and Governance

  • Oversee Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to ensure compliance with enterprise standards
  • Monitor performance against thresholds and drive results by escalating breaches where necessary to hold stakeholders accountable
  • Track and analyze operational risk KRIs; provide oversight to ensure timely detection of risk trends, emerging issues, and proper escalation
  • Ensure first-line challenge of risk activities and adherence to governance frameworks

Risk Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare, consolidate, and present weekly and monthly risk management reports and dashboards for senior management
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity, data accuracy, and insight generation across risk analytics workflows
  • Communicate risk findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders

Corrective Action & Issue Resolution

  • Implement corrective action plans to address identified risks and compliance gaps
  • Provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies and how to avoid similar issues in the future
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute resolution plans

Risk Automation

  • Identify, develop, and manage automation solutions to streamline evidence collection for I&T risk campaigns
  • Leverage advanced technologies, including GenAI, to design, develop, and optimize high-quality prompts that automate evidence collection processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, project management, risk management, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology risk, operational risk, governance, or audit roles within financial services or technology environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Information Technology Risk Management processes
  • Strong writing and oral communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and timeously with stakeholders; determine information needs and present data clearly and persuasively
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and data accuracy across risk analytics
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making capabilities
  • Thorough understanding of risk governance, compliance standards, and control testing methodologies

Nice to Have:

  • Risk or Information Security Designation (e.g., CISO, CISSP etc.)
  • Knowledge of Financial Services Industry and Personal Banking Technologies
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Confluence, and JIRA
  • Knowledge of GRC tools such as Archer or ServiceNow
  • Experience in large, matrixed organizations
  • Knowledge of emerging technology and cybersecurity trends
