Job description

We are seeking a Senior Socio-Cultural Analyst (Chinese) with an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly for a contract to be awarded around October 2026.
In this role, you will:
  • Perform as a language specialist at the native level providing accurate reading, writing, speaking skills, as well as provide cultural understanding regarding geopolitical, economic and social issues.
  • Provide accurate, translations of transcripts, video and audio sources, from the target language to English and vice versa while preserving the original meaning and intent of the original source.
  • Devise and advise new methods of target language research and exploitation of information and determine the most effective methods for presenting and disseminating the information.

Required Education & Experience:
  • Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category or a Bachelor's degree related to the labor category and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years as a substitute for the Master's degree.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Possess Native Level proficiency in the Chinese language. “Native level” is defined as first/second generation speaking ability to understand current vernacular, colloquialisms, and terminology (Proficiency level of 4 required in speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly

Pay Range: There are many factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
