Make an impact supporting the Air Force! Lynch Consultants is seeking a Junior Risk Management Analyst with a solid understanding of risk management, internal controls, audit support, financial management, business process improvement who is ready to take on meaningful challenges and make a measurable difference.

Salary: $59,000 - $63,000 (commensurate with experience) 

 
Work Location and Schedule: 

  • This position is located in Joint Base Andrews. Associates are required to be on-site 5 days per week

Required Qualifications – Must Have: 

  • MUST have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration, information systems, or a related field.
  • MUST have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • MUST have 2+ years of relevant experience in risk management, internal controls, audit support, financial management, business process improvement, or a related area.
  • MUST have experience supporting federal clients, preferably within DoD or Air Force environments


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience supporting Air Force or broader DoD clients.
  • Familiarity with federal internal control or audit frameworks.
  • Experience with process mapping, control documentation, or remediation tracking.
  • Exposure to tools such as ServiceNow, eGRC, dashboards, or reporting platforms.
  • Experience turning large or messy data into clear reports or summaries.
  • Familiarity with financial management, acquisition, logistics, property, or related mission-support functions.

  • Internal controls or audit readiness support.
  • Risk management or compliance support.
  • Business process documentation and analysis.
  • Research, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Briefing development and status reporting.
  • Stakeholder coordination and meeting support.
  • Technical writing and documentation.
