Operations Research Analyst
The Opportunity:
Join a high-impact team shaping the future of the Cyberspace Operations Force through advanced analytical integration and concept development. In this role, you will apply rigorous operations research methodologies to assess emerging technologies, adversary behaviors, and force-design implications. You will support development, refinement, and validation of cyberspace concepts and perform quantitative gaps, risk, and performance analysis. The position requires close collaboration with planners, intelligence analysts, wargame designers, and stakeholders across the Joint Force to ensure analytic rigor and strategic alignment. You will help drive decision-ready insights that influence long-range planning and force design.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience as an Operations Research Analyst
  • Experience advising and collaborating with stakeholders to evaluate data, optimize data usage, and promote information sharing
  • Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process
  • Ability to analyze operational metrics, develop data-driven recommendations, and translate findings into decision-ready insights
  • Ability to prepare detailed analytic reports that convert complex data into meaningful information
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience conducting concept refinement, validation, or doctrinal assessment
  • Experience developing Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), Measures of Performance (MOPs), and analytic frameworks for wargames and experimentation
  • Experience performing force design analysis, gap analysis, or comparative evaluation of capability alternatives
  • Experience supporting senior-leader decision products such as read-aheads, issue briefs, and strategic summaries
  • Experience with advanced analytic tools such as Python, R, or MATLAB used for quantitative modeling, risk analysis, and data interpretation

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
