  • Clean, Reconciled Books: Drive revenue-related account reconciliations and month-end/quarter-end close activities that give leadership confidence in financial reporting.
  • Contract Review & Deal Support: Partner with Sales and Legal to review customer contracts, assess revenue implications of non-standard terms, and ensure proper accounting treatment before deals close.
  • Scalable, Modernized Processes: Identify inefficiencies in current revenue workflows and design, recommend, and implement automation and process improvements that support Litera's growth.
  • Billing Operations Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely customer billing aligned with contract terms, coordinating with Sales Operations and Customer Success to resolve discrepancies.
  • Deferred Revenue & Forecast Accuracy: Manage deferred revenue schedules and provide reliable revenue forecasts that support FP&A and executive planning.
  • Documented, Audit-Ready Operations: Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and internal controls over the revenue cycle that ensure consistency, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams across Finance, Sales, Legal, and Product to keep revenue operations running smoothly and aligned with broader business objectives.

We're committed to creating an inclusive environment. If you need accommodations at any point in the process or in the role, we're here to support you.
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
  • 7+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong working knowledge of ASC 606, including identification of performance obligations, variable consideration, and allocation of transaction price.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce, with bonus points for hands-on experience integrating Salesforce and NetSuite (or a comparable ERP).
  • Experience managing the full revenue cycle including contract review, billing, revenue recognition, and deferred revenue.
  • Solid Excel skills with the ability to manage and analyze financial data effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in high-volume, multi-product environments.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Clear, professional communication skills for engaging with Sales, Legal, and internal stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to Haves:
  • CPA or equivalent accounting credential.
  • Experience supporting revenue system implementations, ERP upgrades, or billing automation projects.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset with a track record of leveraging AI tools to streamline revenue operations, reduce manual effort, and scale processes and controls.
