Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst for a hybrid contract-to-hire position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Columbus, OH, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, Detroit, MI, or Minneapolis, MN. This role requires approximately 4 days per week onsite. This role will support specialty banking and capital markets technology platforms, including FX, trading, broker dealer, and commercial banking applications. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain modern full-stack applications utilizing React, Angular, and .NET, while leading legacy application modernization initiatives and cloud migration efforts to GCP. Responsibilities: Support specialty banking and capital markets technology platforms, including FX, trading, broker dealer, and commercial banking applications Develop and maintain modern full-stack applications utilizing React, Angular, .NET, and microservices architecture Lead and contribute to legacy application modernization initiatives Participate in cloud migration efforts, moving applications and services from on-premise environments to GCP Develop and support integrations with internal and third-party vendor APIs Support database modernization and migration initiatives involving SQL and cloud-based data platforms Convert legacy applications, including ASP.NET solutions, to modern front-end frameworks such as React Design, test, debug, document, and implement software enhancements and new application functionality Provide production support and assist with issue resolution across business-critical applications Collaborate with business partners, architects, and development teams to deliver strategic technology initiatives Participate in automated deployment, validation, and operational improvement efforts to reduce manual support activities Requirements: 5 years of software development experience Strong experience with React and/or Angular development Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and microservices architecture Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs SQL development and database experience Experience migrating legacy applications to cloud environments Cloud platform experience, preferably GCP AWS experience will be considered if accompanied by strong cloud migration experience and some GCP exposure Experience supporting full software development lifecycle activities, including design, development, testing, and production support Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Desired skills: Experience within financial services, banking, fintech, or capital markets environments Exposure to Foreign Exchange (FX), trading, broker dealer, or commercial banking applications Experience supporting application modernization and digital transformation initiatives Experience with vendor platform integrations, including broker dealer or capital markets technologies Experience migrating databases and applications from on-premise infrastructure to cloud-based environments Familiarity with systems acquired through mergers and acquisitions and related integration efforts Pay range: $69.10 - $71.24 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
