Job description

One Federal Solution is seeking a Senior Program Consultant to support the United States Marshals Service (USMS) by providing strategic advisory, program management, operational analysis, and organizational improvement support for headquarters initiatives and mission operations. The selected individual will assist leadership with program planning, process improvement initiatives, operational assessments, stakeholder coordination, and strategic execution efforts in a fast-paced federal environment. The Senior Program Consultant must demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills while supporting multiple high-level initiatives and operational priorities.

Senior Program Consultant Tasks and Duties:
  • Provide strategic advisory and operational support to program leadership and management teams.
  • Conduct organizational and program analyses to identify operational improvements and process efficiencies.
  • Support the planning, coordination, administration, and execution of program initiatives and operational activities.
  • Analyze policies, procedures, workflows, and operational requirements to develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare executive briefings, reports, presentations, memoranda, and strategic documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding program activities, operational initiatives, and project requirements.
  • Support program tracking, performance measurement, and operational reporting activities.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of strategic plans, operational procedures, and management initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings, working groups, and cross-functional coordination efforts.
  • Review operational documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program requirements.
  • Support special projects and mission-related initiatives as assigned.
  • Provide leadership support for organizational planning and program execution activities.
Senior Program Consultant Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust background investigation.
  • Must have at least six years of specialized experience related to management consulting, program management, operational analysis, organizational improvement, or federal program support.
  • Experience supporting federal government programs or contracts is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal employees as well as outside sources.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
Compensation:

This position offers a target hourly pay range of $59.00/hr to $66.00/hr based on experience, qualifications, and contract alignment.
