Work Environment

This position allows for a fully remote work setting, providing flexibility in how you structure your day. We offer both full-time (over 30 hours/week) and part-time (over 5 hours/week) options, empowering you to create a schedule that best suits your lifestyle. As a telehealth counselor, you’ll connect with clients through video chat, all while managing a personalized caseload from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver ethical and empathetic mental health counseling to clients through virtual sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique needs of each client and develop customized treatment plans that promote positive mental health outcomes.
• Guide clients in enhancing coping mechanisms, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills through interactive techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records while keeping paperwork to a minimum, allowing more time for client-focused work.
• Utilize advanced digital counseling platforms and tools to facilitate seamless communication and engagement with clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve supporting stable, low-acuity adults facing various mental health challenges. This includes individuals seeking guidance in coping with everyday stressors, relationship issues, and other life transitions. By providing targeted interventions, you can significantly impact their overall mental well-being and help them lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Possession of a current state license in one of the following: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Independent licensure, allowing you to practice without supervision, is essential.
• No history of disciplinary actions against your professional licenses.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with computer literacy necessary for engaging with clients digitally.
• A stable Wi-Fi connection is necessary to facilitate consistent client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in online counseling platforms is highly preferred, as it will enhance your ability to deliver effective therapy remotely.
• Previous work with diverse populations will be beneficial, allowing for a rich understanding of various client backgrounds.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of your practice.

Compensation and Benefits

• An annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, depending on the hours worked and your experience.
