Job Description
As a Product Manager, NPD & Product Lifecycle Management for VHG, ARMI MBH, Paragon and Industrials TP you will be responsible for driving the innovation pipeline as well as managing the product lifecycle of the portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, commercially-savvy and customer-focused candidate to develop and execute an innovation strategy for the portfolio and deliver ambitious revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and deliver a robust pipeline of new products aligned to market trends, customer needs, and portfolio growth priorities.
  • Own NPD governance and stage-gate execution, ensuring disciplined progression from concept to launch in line with global processes.
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to shape target product profiles, technical requirements, and launch readiness.
  • Define and execute product launch plans, coordinating with Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Operations to ensure timely and effective market introduction.
  • Manage products through their full lifecycle, ensuring profitability, competitiveness, and timely optimisation, rationalisation, or exit decisions.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure competitive lead times, capacity alignment, and operational feasibility across the portfolio.
  • Partner with Pricing to set and implement NPD and lifecycle pricing, balancing margin, competitiveness, and scalability.
  • Prepare global demand forecasts and work with Demand Planners and operations teams to develop a Sales & Operations Planning process.
  • Provide product support for transactional sales activities, including lifecycle pricing, substitutions, and availability-driven decisions.
  • Track and analyse sales, operational, and lifecycle KPIs to identify product improvement, optimisation, or corrective actions.
  • Monitor and communicate NPD and lifecycle KPIs, risks, and progress to senior leadership with clear actions and recommendations.

Qualifications
  • Degree in science-based discipline, preferably chemistry, MBA is an asset.
  • Strong market knowledge of Industrial and Metals Standards is required.
  • 5+ years' experience in Product Management, Marketing or Sales,, ideally in the Life Sciences tools or Analytical Chemistry industry.
  • Excellent problem solving, coordination and consensus building skills.
  • Keenly attentive to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders in different functions.
  • Goal orientated, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in strategic planning, market research and positioning of value propositions.
  • Able to motivate, problem solve, deal with ambiguity, and effectively prioritize business needs.
  • Strong MS Office proficiency is an advantage is preferable.
