Job description

Job Summary:
Lumen Solutions Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Power Platform & SharePoint Solutions Engineer to support ongoing projects for the State of South Carolina. This role focuses on managing and maintaining the SharePoint Online environment and ensuring compliance with federal guidelines.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain the SharePoint Online environment including Teams, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Forms.
• Design, create, and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, views, and modern pages aligned to business processes.
• Build and maintain PowerApps applications and customized list forms.
• Implement flows for approvals, notifications, reminders, and file routing.
• Collaborate on Copilot for Microsoft 365, sensitivity labels, and retention policies.
• Design and configure light Dataverse schemas, tables, and security roles.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, client devices, applications, and cloud services.
• Configure and use standard and premium 365 connectors.
• Ensure compliance, security, and best practices across the SharePoint environment.
• Provide recommendations on data retention, DLP, and access control.
• Deliver projects that ensure scalability, availability, performance, and security.
• Provide after-hours/weekend maintenance when needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Expert-level knowledge of SharePoint Online, Teams, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 services (including GCC tenants).
• Strong experience with Azure and Azure AD.
• Proficiency with PowerShell for SharePoint Online management.
• Strong understanding of M365 security constructs and data protection (DLP, RMS/IRM, Azure Information Protection).
• Proven ability to deliver on-time results and effectively follow up on risks/issues.
• Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
• Candidate must be based in South Carolina or willing to relocate at their own expense prior to the start date.
Preferred:
• Prior government sector experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
