Job description

Position Title: Associate/Senior Associate Athletics Director, Compliance & Administration
Department: Intercollegiate Athletics
Reports To: VP for Intercollegiate Athletics
Appointment: Full-time; 40 hours per week (12-month position)
Status: Exempt
The Department of Athletics is seeking a highly motivated, organized and dedicated professional for the position of Associate or Senior Associate Athletics Director - Compliance and Administration. The successful candidate will report directly to Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics.
This full-time, twelve-month position will be responsible for assisting the Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics in facilitating Missouri Valley Conference and NCAA rules compliance. The specific duties of the Associate/Senior Associate Athletics Director - Compliance and Administration will include: Assistance with student-athlete financial aid and scholarship awards; Facilitate and monitor Sport Program participation lists, monthly logs and the missed class policy; Coordinate annual review of NCAA, conference, and institutional student-athlete paperwork; Assist with the education of coaches, staff, and constituents regarding NCAA compliance; Monitor Student-Athlete Employment; Assist in the coordination of all aspects of the academic eligibility for Sport Programs; Assist in yearly team meetings; Coordinate the completion and updating NCAA reporting forms; Perform other athletic-related duties assigned.
Bachelor's degree required; minimum of two years of experience in NCAA compliance or equivalent desired, preferably at the NCAA Division I level; comprehensive understanding and knowledge of NCAA rules, regulations, processes, interpretations, appeals and governance structure desired; knowledge of NCAA technological processes such as CAi and LSDBi preferred; proven ability to relate well to coaches, student-athletes and other constituency groups required; excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask and organizational abilities with high attention to detail required; creative problem solving skills required; ability to work as a member of a team required; research skills required; proficiency in areas of initial, continuing, and transfer eligibility and financial aid preferred; proficiency in playing and practice seasons and recruiting preferred; strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels required; a willingness to promote and uphold the mission of Bradley Athletics required.
