Job description

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Staff Marketing and Brand Designer to help shape, elevate, and scale the next generation of Intuit’s brand and marketing expression.
This is a senior creative role for a designer who can operate with independence, judgment, and clear creative authority across multiple creative domains. The right candidate is not simply a strong maker. They are a strategic creative partner who can turn complex business, brand, product, and audience inputs into exceptional design outcomes that are clear, compelling, distinctive, and built to scale.
This role will help define and evolve the visual taste level of the brand across campaigns, launches, partnerships, systems, and high-priority marketing experiences. It requires someone with refined craft, strong storytelling instincts, cultural awareness, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through ambiguity with confidence and professionalism.
The ideal candidate brings a high bar for execution, a clear point of view, and the ability to move work forward with organization, polish, and momentum. They know how to pitch creative ideas, respond to feedback with maturity, build trust with senior stakeholders, and deliver work that raises the standard for everyone around them.

At Intuit, we're intentionally building AI into how we design, prototype, and ship — and we're committed to equipping our teams to work at the forefront of it. We look for designers who are excited to bring AI into their workflow — using it to move faster, explore further, and save their energy for the decisions that only human judgment and creativity can make. We're looking for designers who are curious, eager to experiment, and excited to continually evolve how they work.

Responsibilities

Lead brand and marketing design work across multiple creative domains, translating strategy into high-quality creative direction, design systems, campaigns, and marketing experiences.
Develop highly effective and impactful creative solutions that elevate brand identity, clarify messaging, and create memorable marketing experiences across channels, formats, platforms, and touchpoints.
Define and evolve the visual taste level and aesthetic point of view for the brand, ensuring the work is distinctive, coherent, and executed with clarity, restraint, and originality.

Design experiences that make AI-powered features intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy for a diverse range of users

Use insight-driven storytelling to align teams around complex marketing outcomes, helping the business stand out and communicate with greater confidence.
Guide cross-functional teams through creative development with clear rationale, strong presentation skills, and decisive creative judgment.
Work closely with project leads, designers, producers, marketers, product partners, and stakeholders to create alignment, build trust, and keep high-priority work moving.
Build comprehensive design systems, brand guidelines, frameworks, and repeatable approaches that help teams move faster with greater consistency and higher quality.
Improve the quality and effectiveness of brand assets and guidelines, making sure the work can scale across the organization without becoming generic, fragmented, or overly reactive.
Bring cultural fluency and fresh creative thinking to the work, helping the team challenge stale patterns and create more relevant, memorable, and ownable brand experiences.
Use business context, customer insight, market understanding, and design judgment to make strong decisions and prioritize the work that will have the greatest impact.
Mentor and support other designers through critique, concept development, feedback, and craft leadership.
Model professional maturity in high-feedback environments, including the ability to manage ambiguity, absorb input, clarify direction, and move the work forward without unnecessary escalation.

Qualifications

Deep experience in brand and marketing design, with a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional craft, strategic thinking, strong visual judgment, and the ability to deliver high-impact work across complex brand and marketing systems.
Mastery of branding and marketing principles, including brand identity, campaign development, messaging, audience engagement, storytelling, and multi-channel creative execution.
A refined sense of taste and a clear creative point of view, with the ability to define what creative excellence looks like, and help teams reach that standard.

Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into your design workflow to improve quality, speed, or exploration

Strong ability to translate complex inputs into simple, compelling creative direction and finished design work.
Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch, explain, and defend creative ideas with confidence, clarity, and professionalism.
Proven ability to build trust with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners through strong judgment, candid communication, and well-organized creative leadership.
Demonstrated experience creating or evolving design systems, brand guidelines, visual frameworks, campaign systems, or scalable creative toolkits.
Strong command of visual design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, color, hierarchy, and brand expression across digital, traditional, and exploratory mediums.
Ability to work independently across multiple workstreams while maintaining quality, clarity, and momentum.
High professional decorum, strong organizational habits, and the ability to lead meetings, manage feedback, and create alignment in complex environments.
Curiosity, cultural awareness, and the ability to develop work that resonates with diverse audiences while supporting business and brand goals.
A collaborative leadership style that raises the quality of the work and the performance of the people around it.
