Job description

Marketing Designer

Our firm is currently seeking a Marketing Designer to join our talented team. The candidate must be creative, flexible, organized, and possess strong time-management skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design and marketing experience, as well as strong writing skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required.

The designer will support both internal/Bray-focused materials and efforts as well as external/client-focused efforts.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • In collaboration with the broader marketing and communications team, strategize and execute how to achieve department goals through graphics, collateral, video, and other visual elements.
  • Maintain and organize art files, ensuring they are properly labeled, categorized, and stored efficiently on the shared file server for easy access and utilization by all team members.
  • Design, package art files, and coordinate with printers to produce presentations, templates, and graphics for corporate marketing, business development, proposals, client updates, and other deliverables.
  • Implement and update visual brand standard guidelines throughout the firm, ensuring consistency and creativity in our branding.
  • Explore new tools to enhance our storytelling and engagement with targeted audiences, keeping our social media and web presence up to date.
  • Work closely with the client communication manager and senior designers to assist with development and execution of referendum branding campaigns for clients including logos, graphics, and other campaign materials.
  • Capture and produce photo and video content for projects, events, and thought leadership.
  • Ensure all graphics and collateral support the firmโ€™s strategic goals and brand identity, working closely with the others to align with intended use, audience, and campaign goals.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing other job-related tasks as needed.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate shall have:

  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in graphic design or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in marketing and communications.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Express) and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Adobe Premier and After Effects is also desirable, but not required.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills.
  • Highly productive work ethic that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize job responsibilities, work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment โ€“ a collaborative spirit is essential.

Experience working in the architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) industry is preferred.
