Job description

Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Benefits in Morrisville, NC. This role leads the design, deployment, and renewal of global employee benefit programs, including insured plans, pension programs, and time-off offerings. The position partners with cross-functional teams to implement, communicate, and administer programs while ensuring compliance with local regulations, and contributes to key initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions and vendor management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and renewal of global benefit programs.
  • Partner with People teams to administer benefits programs, including policy, enrollment, and compliance.
  • Manage the annual U.S. open enrollment process.
  • Develop cost estimates for program recommendations and renewals; collaborate with Finance for planning and budgeting.
  • Analyze market data to evaluate and improve benefits offerings and delivery.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to align global strategy with local requirements.
  • Implement communication strategies to ensure employees understand available benefits and can make informed decisions.
  • Evaluate and manage benefits brokers, consultants, and vendors to ensure service quality.
  • Monitor vendor performance and coordinate changes when needed.
  • Support team development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Conduct benefits surveys, analyze data, and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations in partnership with legal and regional teams.
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and scope of services.
  • Manage the annual benefits calendar and related activities.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of pension plans, leave programs, time-off benefits, and insured plans across multiple countries.
  • Experience advising on benefits policies and programs.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience using Excel for data analysis and modeling.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a results-driven environment.
  • 8+ years of experience in employee benefits, including at least 4 years developing strategy across multiple countries.
  • 5+ years of management experience preferred.
  • International benefits experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
