The Role

The Senior Lead Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale, cross-functional programs critical to Forged Fiber’s network deployment, transformation, and operational readiness. This role oversees complex project portfolios, ensures alignment across business, IT, and field operations, and drives delivery against aggressive timelines tied to strategic initiatives (e.g., fiber builds, OSS/BSS integration, and market launches).

Work Location: US, Hybrid / Remote

The Main Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex programs (multi-workstream, multi-region)
  • Provide governance, reporting, and executive visibility across project portfolios
  • Drive cross-functional alignment (Engineering, Construction, IT, Finance, Operations, Vendors)
  • Establish and enforce program management standards, tools, and cadence
  • Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies across initiatives
  • Serve as escalation point for critical issues and drive resolution
  • Support workforce planning, readiness tracking, and launch execution (e.g., market go-live)
  • Interface with executive leadership to provide concise updates and decision support
  • Mentor and lead project managers and program team members

Main Requirements

· 10+ years of project/program management experience

· 5+ years in a leadership or lead role managing large programs or PMO functions

· Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives at scale

· Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)

· Experience in telecom, fiber deployment, construction, or infrastructure programs (preferred)

· Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

· PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification

· Experience in high-growth or startup environments

· Familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or similar

Leadership Expectations

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges: $120,000 - $180,000
