Position Summary:
The Lab Technician will support charger setup, maintenance of cable qualification station, parts management area, as well as assist with screening and analysis of field-returned units under the direction of senior engineers.
Duration: 10 months
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with charger setup, teardown, and configuration in the lab environment
  • Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of lab equipment and test setups
  • Maintain lab equipment, tools, and work areas in operational condition
  • Support screening of field-returned chargers to identify failure symptoms
  • Assist with basic failure analysis activities under guidance from system, quality, and reliability engineers
  • Document test results, observations, and findings as required
  • Follow lab safety, ESD, and quality procedures
Required Experience / Skills
  • Associate degree or technical training in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • Basic knowledge of electronic components, test equipment, and lab practices
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and work under engineering guidance
  • Good documentation and communication skills
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to perform repetitive, labor-intensive tasks
