Job description

AvantGarde, LLC (AG) seeks to engage a full-time HR Staffing and Classification Specialist who supports an AG federal client by providing staffing and classification expertise to standardize new and existing positions and provide day-to-day human resources position classification management support.

AG offers a comprehensive benefit package including immediate medical and 401k enrollment as well as a commuter package. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week; work is performed onsite at Agency in Washington, D.C.

The WORK

  • Perform the full range of staffing services such as drafting job postings, posting positions, rating and ranking applicants, issuing Certificates of Eligibles, preparing job offers, and pay setting in accordance with established CFTC guidelines.
  • · Assist CFTC Human Resources Specialists in conducting quality review within 5 business days of issuance of certificates on Delegated Examining, Merit Promotion and Excepted Service.
  • · Assist Human Resources Specialists in auditing Certificates of Eligibles once a selection has been made. The contractor shall make recommendations to the Chief, Talent Management on corrective actions, if applicable.
  • · Perform other duties as assigned.
