What is a Senior HL7 Interface Analyst?

A Senior HL7 Interface Analyst is an experienced professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining interfaces that allow healthcare systems to exchange data using the HL7 (Health Level 7) standard. They play a key role in ensuring interoperability between electronic health record (EHR) systems, labs, pharmacies, and other healthcare applications. Their responsibilities often include analyzing workflow requirements, building and testing HL7 interfaces, troubleshooting integration issues, and providing technical support. Senior analysts typically have several years of experience with HL7 messaging standards and healthcare IT systems.
