Job Summary
As the Healthcare Executive Chef, you will lead the culinary operation and oversee all food production, menu development, purchasing, and culinary programming for a high-profile hospital in Vero Beach, FL.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building talented teams, elevating culinary standards, and creating memorable dining experiences. You'll have the opportunity to bring your creativity and expertise to a respected healthcare operation while partnering with a strong culinary and foodservice team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Recruit, train, develop, and inspire a high-performing culinary team
  • Create innovative, nutritious, and appealing menus tailored to the healthcare environment
  • Manage food purchasing, inventory, product quality, and vendor relationships
  • Drive food and labor cost controls while maintaining high culinary standards
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead the implementation of innovative culinary programs and initiatives in partnership with the culinary and marketing teams
  • Support catering and special events while maintaining a high level of service and execution
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, culinary excellence, and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications
  • Culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred
  • 5+ years of culinary management experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Healthcare culinary experience is a plus
  • Strong high-volume production and catering experience
  • Proven experience managing food costs, labor, inventory, and overall financial performance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Passion for culinary innovation and delivering an exceptional dining experience
  • Desire to grow and build a long-term career with a leading foodservice organization
