Crawford, VA, is the trusted name in power quality analyzers and test equipment for utility companies worldwide. Were seeking a talented Embedded Hardware Design Engineer to join our expanding engineering team.

In this role, youll help develop next-generation electronic instrumentation using ARM-based designs and modern embedded technologies. If you have a passion for hardware design and firmware development, we want to hear from you!


What You'll Do:

  • Design and develop advanced embedded systems and instrumentation
  • Work with technologies such as ARM processors, DSPs, embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, cellular networks, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB, and real-time processing
  • Interface with external device applications including PMIs PQ Canvass (web-based data analysis platform)


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded systems or electronic hardware design


Preferred Skills (A+, but not required):

  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
  • Analog signal conditioning and/or switching power supply design
  • Embedded firmware development
  • Knowledge of utility, industrial, or commercial electrical power systems
