Job description

Senior General Superintendent
Location: Raleigh, NC
Our client is looking for a Senior General Superintendent to join their expanding Raleigh, NC team and lead field operations on a large-scale industrial project. The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of superintendent experience on $100M+ commercial or industrial projects, with a preference for life science or manufacturing backgrounds. This is an on-site leadership role that requires both deep construction expertise and the ability to develop teams, manage budgets, and engage directly with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop the project team
- Direct and coordinate trade contractors and subcontractors
-Monitor safety performance and verify safety compliance across all trades
-Coordinate jobsite logistics and schedule communication
-Manage general conditions and site services budget
-Lead contractor meetings, oversee daily reports, and document in Procore
-Communicate schedule status, updates, and changes to the project team and trade contractors
Requirements:
- 15+ years of superintendent experience on $100M+ commercial/industrial projects
- BS/MS in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of construction safety processes and ability to enforce a project safety plan
- Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office
Preferences:
- Preference for life science/manufacturing project background
- OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to participate in sales interviews and client presentations
- Ideally knows the Raleigh Market
