Job description

Software and Services Financial Planning and Analysis Lead

Description - Job Summary

This is a newly created role responsible to work across LCS, MS, DS GBUs within HP Solutions to help with short term and long term deliverables. Short-term deliverables include working with GBU Finance and Category finance providing holistic insights on Flash, MEC and business KPIs to drive direct linkage between business activities and financial outcomes. Long term deliverables include driving LTP and working cross-functionally on Pan-HP initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the business in ensuring that capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company.
  • Performs highly complex financial analysis for HPS, utilizing a unique understanding of the business to achieve objectives effectively.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making.
  • Drives process improvements and policy development initiatives that impact the function globally.
  • Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes.
  • Contributes innovative ideas and may lead large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.
Education & Experience Recommended
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • 10+ years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
