We specialize in helping teachers and public employees with retirement planning, including tax-efficient retirement and financial protection strategies using products such as Indexed Universal Life (IUL) insurance and annuities.

Our goal is simple: help agents spend more time having meaningful client conversations and building their business.

What Makes MeridianLight Different

  • Specialized Market โ€” Focus on teachers, educators, and public employees with retirement planning needs
  • 2-Week Structured Onboarding โ€” Learn our appointment process, products, technology, and sales system
  • Training & Mentorship โ€” Receive ongoing coaching and professional development
  • AI-Powered Technology โ€” Access CRM tools, scripts, automation, and AI-assisted resources
  • 100% Remote โ€” Conduct client appointments virtually from anywhere in the U.S.
  • Flexible Schedule โ€” Build your work schedule around your availability
Compensation
  • Performance-based income (commission)
  • Typical commission per sale: $2,000โ€“$3,000+
  • Top performers may earn $10,000โ€“$25,000+ per month
  • No cap on commission earnings

Actual earnings vary based on individual production, product, case size, and sales performance. Compensation is not guaranteed.

What You'll Do
  • Meet virtually with pre-scheduled prospective clients
  • Learn about each client's financial situation, retirement goals, and concerns
  • Educate clients about available retirement and financial protection strategies
  • Present appropriate life insurance, IUL, and annuity solutions based on client needs
  • Build professional, trust-based client relationships
  • Follow up with prospective and existing clients
  • Manage appointments and client activity through our CRM
  • Follow a structured sales and documentation process
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Ideal Candidate
  • Interested in life insurance, IUL, annuities, and retirement planning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable speaking with clients through Zoom and other virtual platforms
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and goal-oriented
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Interested in building a long-term, performance-based income
  • Previous sales, insurance, financial services, education, or other client-facing experience is helpful but not required
Qualifications
  • Active life insurance license or willingness to obtain the appropriate license before conducting insurance sales
  • Must reside in the United States
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and virtual communication tools
  • Ability to follow established sales and compliance procedures
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Important Note

This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-based opportunity, not a salaried or hourly position.

Products include life insurance, Indexed Universal Life (IUL), and fixed/fixed-indexed annuity solutions used for retirement and financial protection planning.

Individual results vary. Earnings are based on personal production and sales performance and are not guaranteed.
