  • Work across Accounting and cross-functional teams to uncover efficiency opportunities, including AI use cases, document requirements, and translate complex financial workflows into well-controlled technical solutions.
  • Identify, design, and implement AI and automation solutions (e.g., system workflows, data integrations, reporting tools) to streamline accounting processes.
  • Use tools such as BlackLine and Alteryx to automate journal entries, reconciliations, controls, reporting, and other accounting activities.
  • Improve data architecture and reporting consistency across ERP systems, subledgers, and reporting tools, while ensuring completeness and accuracy of data, and alignment between source systems.
  • Support end to end delivery-from analysis and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Partner with Accounting and SOX compliance teams to assess and develop an effective internal controls approach to automated accounting solutions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Functional experience in Accounting
  • Hands on experience with BlackLine and building workflows in Alteryx (required)
  • Demonstrated experience with AI/LLM tools, automation platforms and RPA (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI (preferred)
  • Background in Oracle eBS ERP implementation and/or upgrades (preferred)
  • Demonstrated initiative in process improvement
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with the ability to drive tasks to completion
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate cross functionally at various levels of the organization both domestically and across the globe
  • Understanding of US GAAP and SOX frameworks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in an accounting or finance systems reporting or data analysis role, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
