Chemours is seeking an Sr. EHS Consultant to join the Workplace Safety Center of Excellence (COE) team. This position will be available at our corporate headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware or located at one of our manufacturing sites and report directly to the EHS Manager.

The Sr. EHS Consultant serves as the lead analytics and program support resource for Workplace Safety initiatives. This highly visible role partners across the EHS COE, sites, businesses, and corporate functions to translate complex EHS data into actionable insights that strengthen decision-making, risk management, and performance outcomes.

In addition, the role provides broad support for Workplace Safety programs, including audits, assessments, training, standards development, communications, and special projects. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information, identify meaningful trends, and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as an EHS analytics and reporting resource, providing data analysis, performance trending, actionable insights, and decision-support tools to COE competency leads, site teams, operations leaders, and functional stakeholders.

  • Collect, analyze, and communicate EHS data, metrics, and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Develop, maintain, and manage EHS dashboards, reports, scorecards, and management review materials that support effective decision making.

  • Manage Corporate EHS systems including document management of Corporate Policies, Standards, and Guidelines, training materials, and other program resources.

  • Support governance and continuous improvement of EHS reporting tools and digital platforms, including Power BI, ETQ Reliance, SharePoint, and related systems.

  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, system functionality, and user adoption.

  • Support the development and implementation of EHS standards training materials, guidance documents, and other program resources.

  • Assist with corporate EHS training, network engagement activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support audits, assessments, incident reviews, and other activities that help identify risks and strengthen EHS performance.

  • Contribute to enterprise projects, communications, and initiatives that advance EHS programs and organizational learning.

  • Engage with sites and stakeholders to understand business needs, share insights, and support effective implementation of EHS programs.

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.

  • 7+ years of relevant EHS experience in chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing, or other industrial environments.

  • Working knowledge of EHS management systems, regulatory requirements, auditing processes, and risk management programs.

  • Experience supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS standards, training, or related elements.

  • Strong analytical skills, including experience working with metrics, dashboards, trend analysis, and performance reporting.

  • Experience with digital EHS tools such as ETQ Reliance, Power BI, SharePoint, Excel or similar platforms.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results with limited supervision.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information and data in a clear and practical manner.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and build strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to travel to various worksites up to 30%.

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Professional certification such as ASP, CSP, CHST, CMSP, or similar credential.

  • Experience supporting multi-site or global EHS programs in a manufacturing or industrial company.

  • Experience with auditing, management systems, and continuous improvement processes.

  • Advanced capability in analytics, dashboard development, or digital enablement of EHS processes.

  • Experience developing training, communications, or knowledge-sharing resources that support EHS program implementation and improvement.
