Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support enterprise Agile delivery initiatives in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive Agile best practices, manage cross-team dependencies, and ensure successful delivery across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solution-oriented, and experienced in coaching teams while partnering with Product, Engineering, UX, and Architecture leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Scrum ceremonies and Agile execution for multiple teams in a Scaled Agile environment.
- Prepare teams for PI Planning, Pre-PI Planning, and Program Increment execution.
- Identify, track, and resolve cross-team dependencies, risks, and impediments.
- Facilitate collaboration between Product, Engineering, UX, Architecture, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor team progress and provide clear reporting on delivery status, risks, and metrics.
- Create and maintain Jira dashboards, workflows, reports, and Agile metrics.
- Coach teams and leadership on Agile principles, Lean practices, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate effective retrospectives and ensure action items are tracked to completion.
- Support ART-level ceremonies including Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, and PO Sync.
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and promote Agile best practices across teams.
- Escalate issues with recommended solutions and impact analysis.
- Ensure backlog readiness and maintain a predictable delivery cadence.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Scrum Master experience in large enterprise environments.
- Strong experience working within SAFe or other Scaled Agile frameworks.
- Proven expertise managing cross-functional teams and inter-team dependencies.
- Advanced experience with Jira, including dashboards, workflows, JQL, and reporting.
- Experience supporting PI Planning and large-scale Agile delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile metrics such as flow, throughput, WIP, and predictability.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Ability to proactively identify risks and drive solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAFe certifications such as SSM, SASM, RTE, or SPC.
- Experience supporting multiple Agile teams or an Agile Release Train (ART).
- Strong background in Agile transformation and continuous process improvement
