Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise architecture strategy, governance, standards, and technology planning across a large enterprise environment. The architect will work closely with Enterprise Architecture leadership, business stakeholders, technology teams, and senior management to ensure technology initiatives align with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of enterprise architecture strategy and governance.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, policies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Guide business and technology teams in aligning solutions with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead and facilitate Architecture Review Board (ARB) meetings and architecture governance activities.
  • Develop executive-level architecture briefings, technology recommendations, and strategic planning documents.
  • Mentor enterprise, solution, and technical architects.
  • Evaluate enterprise technology investments and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain architecture artifacts and records within the enterprise architecture repository.
  • Manage and configure the enterprise architecture repository and related tools.
  • Develop data architecture, application architecture, technology architecture, and network flow diagrams.
  • Capture data and integration architecture for data center and cloud solutions.
  • Support enterprise cloud, cross-cloud, on-premises, and virtual infrastructure initiatives.
  • Manage internal document repositories and SharePoint for enterprise information sharing.
  • Develop reports, technical documentation, processes, standards, and guidance materials.
  • Provide technical leadership on enterprise-level IT projects.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, technical teams, vendors, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support strategic planning, technology modernization, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience.
  • 10+ years developing business, application, and technology architectures.
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Visio experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with ArchiMate modeling language.
  • Strong experience creating architecture models and technical diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
  • Experience establishing and implementing Enterprise Architecture best practices.
  • Experience with SDLC, program management, and project management.
  • Experience leading enterprise-level cloud, cross-cloud, on-premises, and virtual infrastructure deployments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology programs, processes, standards, and governance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or equivalent senior-level technical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • TOGAF certification highly preferred.
  • Top Secret Security Clearance desirable but not required.
  • Experience with federal government or large enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud architecture.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture repositories and modeling tools.
  • Strong executive presentation and strategic planning experience.
