Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Applications Architect to help shape and evolve enterprise application architecture across a complex organization. This role partners with architects, technology leaders, and business stakeholders to design future-state solutions that align with strategic business goals and technology roadmaps.
The ideal candidate combines strong architectural leadership with hands-on technical expertise, providing guidance on governance, technology strategy, and enterprise-wide application initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain enterprise application architecture, standards, and governance practices.
  • Define target-state architectures, roadmaps, and modernization strategies.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology platforms and solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
  • Identify capability gaps and drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate architecture strategies and recommendations to leadership.
  • Mentor and influence architects, technical teams, and stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of Enterprise Application Architecture experience.
  • Strong knowledge of architecture governance, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, ERP systems, SaaS/PaaS solutions, CRM platforms, integration technologies, and IT service management tools.
  • Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile and traditional project environments.

Preferred
  • Advanced degree (MBA or similar).
  • Experience in a large, complex enterprise environment.
  • AI governance or framework experience.
  • TOGAF and/or cloud certifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Visio, and architecture tools.
