Job description

We're looking for an experienced CRE Relationship Manager to grow meaningful commercial real estate relationships throughout the Western PA market. Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and grow a commercial real estate portfolio focused on construction, bridge, and permanent loans while executing a clear plan for relationship expansion and profitability.
Serve as the primary relationship owner for CRE clients by delivering trusted financial guidance, anticipating client needs, and coordinating solutions across the bank.
Generate new prospects and convert new clients through targeted calling, market visibility, referral development, and active participation in business and community organizations.
Expand relationship profitability by cross-selling compensating deposit balances, treasury management services, and other Univest solutions in partnership with internal business lines.
Understand each customer's business model, real estate strategy, borrowing needs, repayment capacity, and long-term plans in order to structure appropriate credit solutions.
Structure, negotiate, and recommend credit terms within loan policy, including interest rate, repayment structure, collateral requirements, covenant expectations, and risk-adjusted pricing.
Prepare initial analysis, deal screens and term sheets. Submit loan requests for underwriting, approval, and presentation while ensuring complete, accurate, and timely credit information.
Qualifications
3-5 years commercial banking experience with strong credit judgment, business development discipline, and demonstrated ability to grow and manage a profitable commercial real estate portfolio.
Required expertise in commercial real estate lending, including construction, bridge, and permanent financing, with the ability to evaluate project feasibility, borrower capacity, repayment sources, collateral, and risk-adjusted pricing.
Demonstrated success generating new client relationships, expanding existing relationships, and cross-selling deposits, treasury management, and other bank solutions.
Strong portfolio management capabilities, including loan grading, covenant monitoring, exception resolution, credit presentation, and proactive risk identification.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or equivalent related experience required; formal commercial real estate financial analysis training preferred.
Strong executive presence, communication skills, community engagement, and ability to collaborate across credit, treasury management, retail, wealth, and other business partners.
Proficiency with current banking technology, Microsoft Office applications, financial spreading tools, CRM systems (Salesforce), and credit workflow platforms (ncino)
Wage Range:
The salary for this position starts at $100,000+
