Sr. eCommerce Specialist

GENERAL SUMMARY:

This position plays a pivotal role in executing and optimizing Crayola’s strategic growth initiatives on Amazon. Reporting into the Amazon Account Manager, this role serves as a critical conduit between internal cross-functional teams and Amazon's vendor teams. With a strong focus on operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and continuous process improvement, this individual is responsible for driving tactical execution that directly supports topline growth and long-term customer development.

This senior-level role requires proactive ownership of high-impact projects including forecasting, item and content strategy, retail media coordination, and promotional activation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Maintains and evolves operational trackers, item set-up files, and promotional planning tools to ensure accuracy, visibility, and alignment across teams.
  • Independently manages team cadence, leads meeting scheduling, agenda setting, and cross-functional alignment in partnership with the Amazon Account Manager.
  • Develops and improves team processes that drive clarity, efficiency, and accountability in execution.
  • Maintains a high level of organization to efficiently manage tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and streamline workflows.

Product Display Page (PDP) Strategy & Content Execution:

  • Leads item onboarding and maintenance processes, working across Sales and CX teams to ensure seamless setup, strong content health. Regularly tracking and communicating progress and completion to Amazon Account Manager.
  • Develops and implements PDP variation strategies that enhance discoverability and optimize the shopper journey.
  • Collaborates with SEO and digital content stakeholders to ensure product pages align with both paid and organic traffic goals, maximizing visibility and conversion.

Data Analytics, Forecasting & Performance Management:

  • Co-author and own item level forecast for customer to protect against out-of-stocks, lost demand and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Owns weekly performance reporting, providing actionable insights and data-backed recommendations to guide sales and promotional strategies.
  • Collaborates with the retail media team to ensure advertising investments align with item-level priorities and drive measurable ROI.
  • Continuously iterates on reporting tools and forecasting methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Customer Ownership

  • Serves as the day-to-day operational lead with Amazon AVS, fostering a strong working relationship to maximize support and resolve challenges swiftly.
  • Attends all VM meeting, captures and disseminates key takeaways, action items, and follow-ups across internal teams.
  • Acts as proxy for the Account Manager when needed, demonstrating confidence and ownership in managing customer conversations.
  • Leads customer calendar planning at least six months out, ensuring alignment with inventory flow, promotional windows, and Crayola’s retail activation calendar.
  • Partners across media and content teams to ensure customer-facing initiatives are executed in a cohesive, timely manner.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, supply chain or related field
  • 2-4 years' experience in a customer-facing or client support role within ecommerce, CPG, or retail account coordination
  • Proficient in Amazon Programs and Tools such as: Vendor Central & Retail Analytics, AVS services, Brand Registry, and the Andon Cord process
  • Comfortable working with syndicated data platforms or BI tools (e.g., Stackline, Power BI)
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making and optimize outcomes
  • Collaborative and effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills; able to influence and collaborate cross-functionally and externally
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action, communicating challenges with solutions and actively identifies and implements enhancements to existing processes
  • Excellent in Windows Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
