Job description

Our client in the Personal Care space is looking for a video producer to join their team! Title: Video Producer Onsite: 5 days/week Employment Type: Full-Time What You'll Do: Create Great Ads Concept and produce paid social video across formats including UGC, street interviews, podcast-style content, studio shoots, founder-led videos, and static-to-video concepts. Develop creative concepts and variations based on audience insights, product benefits, trends, and performance data.

Direct creators, customers, real people, and professional talent during efficient shoot days. Adapt between lean, mobile productions and fully lit studio sets. Maintain a healthy pipeline of shoot-ready ideas so production is never waiting on concepts. Use Performance Data to Guide Creative Identify promising concepts and angles through ad performance, customer reviews, comments, competitive research, and cultural trends. Launch thoughtful creative tests, monitor results, and turn learnings into stronger future ads.

Understand and use key paid-social metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, click-through rate, CPA, and spend. Build repeatable creative formats that can scale—not just one-off hero pieces. Manage Production End to End Own shoots from planning through wrap, including budgets, casting, creator coordination, locations, props, product, gear, schedules, and logistics. Keep multiple productions moving at once while maintaining quality and momentum. Build and maintain a growing network of creators, talent, crew, and production partners.

Deliver a consistent weekly output of new concepts, variations, and testable creative. Partner with the Editing Team Organize footage and provide editors with the creative context, hooks, coverage, and direction needed to cut efficiently. Create rough cuts when doing so is the fastest path to testing an idea. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure concepts remain strategically focused and platform-ready.

What We're Looking For

Experience producing short-form video, ideally for paid social advertising. A portfolio demonstrating strong creative instincts; performance context such as sales, signups, spend, retention, or engagement is a plus. Comfort being on camera or directing people who are. Ability to create rough edits using Premiere, CapCut, or similar editing tools. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several active productions without losing details. Confidence working with both real people and professional talent on set. Resourcefulness with budgets, timelines, and production constraints. A bias toward action, fast iteration, and continuous improvement. Willingness to work in person from a Durham, NC office.

Nice to Have

Experience in CPG, DTC, or consumer-brand marketing. Experience creating paid social creative for Meta, TikTok, or YouTube. Experience producing UGC and creator-led content at volume. Experience with street interviews, real-person shoots, photography, or studio lighting. An existing network of creators, talent, crew, or production partners.
