Job description

City Wide is seeking a detail-oriented, service-driven Senior Accountant to provide full-cycle accounting support for a portfolio of locations across the United States and Canada. This hybrid role is responsible for timely, accurate financial reporting, billing, reconciliations, payables, month-end close, and franchisee financial support.
The ideal candidate has strong multi-entity accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and a commitment to exceptional internal and client service. You will partner with OneFinance Controllers, corporate-owned locations, franchise owners, and external partners to maintain accurate, scalable accounting operations.
What You'll Do
  • Manage billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor payments, banking activity, and credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
  • Complete month-end close within five to six business days.
  • Prepare monthly income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial dashboards, and reporting.
  • Partner with Franchise Controllers, franchise owners, and location teams to review financial results and resolve questions.
  • Respond to audit requests and external financial information inquiries.
  • Identify process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support ERP and reporting system enhancements.

Requirements
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • Four to six years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience.
  • CPA or active CPA pursuit preferred.
  • Multi-entity, franchise, client-facing, or outsourced accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.
  • Experience with Power BI, Solver, or Vena is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-service mindset.
